Onion Bhajis
Ingredients 225g/8oz Self Raising Four2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed Pinch of Salt Pinch of cumin (adjust to taste) 250ml/9oz Milk 1 Egg, beaten 50g/2oz Butter 2 Onions sliced 2 Green/Red Chilies, finely sliced Oil, for frying Method 1. Sift the flour and add the garlic, salt and cumin. Slowly add the milk and egg and mix into a batter.2. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the onions and cook for a few minutes until they soften. Add the onions and chilies to the batter. 3. Fry in hot oil a few tablespoons at a time until browned and cooked. Turn over half way through cooking. Cooking only takes a few minutes. 4. Drain on kitchen paper and they are ready to eat. sert method. |
